Cool! Let the party begin

by the way if you use the IMG link from photobucket it will show the picture instead of just links. It's the bottom one in the choices.

Thanks tiag & tektite. Do yall think the cycle would take as long as any other bigger tank? Or will it be short, because of the little water it has in it. Either way i am fine waiting because i want to do it right.

Size of the tank doesn't affect the length of the cycle much, the sand/rock you used is more critical. Were they live sand/rock or dry?

Let it rest and do your test everyday to see where you are.
Most of all take your time.
What are you planning to have in there?

my plan is to have no fish ,but maybe a peppermint shrimp. Other than that i plan to keep soft corals. Such as green star, mushrooms, zoas ect:. I think it would be cool if i could keep a plate coral. i had one in my 45g reef setup befor i sold it.

You might want a small fish or two. I have a small black clown and a paired goby/pistol shrimp in my 6g nano, along with a fire shrimp, a bunch of snails and some small blue leg hermits.
Fish poop = free coral food. :D

While your tank is cycling, mean while bring a visit to FJW one of our amazing sponsors and you will be not disappointed.
And in a few weeks you can get some fish.
Clowns, small wrasses, cobbies will work fine.
