So I have 2 picos. one with nothing but a few hermits, some corals, macros, and a few snails. the other with a mantis, and the same as the above. Both are CRAWLING with pods so much so that its getting kinda annoying. The glass/acrylic gets covered in them started 2 hours before lights out.

Do any nano sized fish eat pods? Maybe a clown goby?

Hi, Metzzen.
I've always thought that the firefish - the purple, orange, or helfrichi, would be the perfect nano fish...

Good luck,
Steve

In a 4g tank...

Try some of the smaller gobies like green banded, tiger, etc.
