I have a regular Naso for about 1.5 yrs now. I love Naso Tangs. Before my tank crashed several years ago when I was on business in Europe I also had a Naso that I had kept for 3 years.

They don't seem to grow much in captivity unless you have a very large tank. I only have a 72g bowfront and mine haven't grown from medium size. Note: they do love to swim.

My experience has been good with Naso Tangs(though I've never tried blonde naso). I wouldn't keep a medium sized one in anything less than around 70g.

Everything I've read says to not keep Naso tangs in anything smaller than a 6' long tank, and preferably at least an 8' long tank. They are big swimmers and keeping them in a 4' tank seems cruel.

Yes, the bigger the tank the better for Naso tangs. Definitely do not keep a large Naso in anything under 100g(assuming 6' long). Some Naso tangs like to swim more than others but in general they are like to swim alot.

They have some small naso tangs at FishLand about 2 inches in size but the small/baby ones do not have the color of the mature ones.

I've also read that even if you have a large enough tank, say 180g or more, that they can be kind of a pain in a reef tank because they swim around so fast that they knock over frags, etc. They would be great in a large fish-only tank. One of the top-5 prettiest saltwater fish, IMO.
