Made a few changes to my tank and now my clam doesn't look the best. Clam has been in the tank for over a year.

Changes made were:
1) Changed LED lenses from 90degree to 120
2) Replaced powerhead and the new one is moving a lot more water.

Tests on the water don't show anything that far off from where it should be. Any thoughts? Turn the lights power up? I already adjusted the powerhead so it is pointed up towards the surface.

Good luck with yours. I had one for a few months was doing great. then for some reason my lawnmower blenny started grazing on it shell constantly knocking it over several times a day, I think at night the conchs and emerald crabs would take over since it would always be knocked over in the morning. Today it has gone on to a better place, I did not start to go downhill until it was discovered by the Blenny. I could be wrong but that has been my experience. Anything in the tank annoying it?

Hmmmm.....I also have a lawnmower in my tank. Been in there 1.5 years though, haven't seen him mess with it.

The clam was really close to a big birdsnest that I removed. Maybe it is getting to much light now.

Going from 90 degree lenses to 120 degree? Did you get a PAR meter and check before and after? You may need to lower you lights, to get them closer to the water line... Just a thought...

Oops! Or.. simply crank the power up a bit. The clam was already used to a tighter beam. Now, by going to 120 optics, he's not getting hit as hot as he was used-to. (that's what I meant...) :)
