Need some custom tank design help (1 Viewer)

Looking to have built:

Tank Length = 48 inches
Tank Width = 15 inches
Tank Height = 15 inches
Tank Volume = 46.8 Gallons

in your experience, do you think I can go rimless?

Sure you can go rimless... glass just has to be thick enough to handle the load. Most of our brick and mortar sponsors can get custom built tanks from DSA or Planet AQ.

If you want to go really high end you can get it done from Reef Savvy. I got mine from Planet. It is not rimless though I am sure they could have made it if I ordered it.

can't go with either planet or dsa. dimension would be no problem going rimless or trimless.

These were make by DSA 72 x 32 x 14, you are more than welcome to stop by to check out the quality of their build.

The glass needs to be thick enough, but you can go rimless. If braced, you would probably need 1/4" sides. Rimless, probably half inch or more.
