I picked up an RKL from T&T (they have several in stock).
Very happy with it so far.
I like the modularity as well as the fact that you can upgrade the head end if needed while keeping all your modules.

I don't recall exactly, think it was the same as the list price on the Digital Aquatics site.

find a rke 2 they run about $200 used and will be the best investment you can buy for the money. it will make life so much easier. A ranco is great but the rke is worth the money. more value for price.

I'm sorry but you cannot find a RKE for $200 used.

its a one stage....do you have a chiller and a heater? im not sure if the ranco would turn off your light if it gets too hot. I rke and i was able to set up as many as 63 alarms and the timmer is the greatest thing ever. With it my temp only swing by .6 stays at 78-78.6

I run a little 4 gallon pico tank that has no heater and the main light is on a timer.

Have you considered merely removing the heater alltogether and just watching the temperature during a 24hr period?

You may be surprised to find out that your light are just perfect for keeping the nano at the right temp.

Just a thought.

I have a 33G with a 250W metal halide and no heater. I run a clip-on fan 24 hours a day over the sump and my temperature range is from 79-83 (night to mid-day).

You do not need to keep the temp constant. That is a myth.

(Unless colourful growing coral and healthy fish are a bad sign)

In this case you just need a heater and a good temp controller to keep the temp from getting too low at night. I guess the other good thing about a multi-function controller would be that you could control your lighting. Just don't expect pH or ORP probes to actually give you accurate readings if you leave them in the water. An acquaintance of mine in marine sciences tells me that micro-organism growth on probes makes it nearly impossible to keep a submerged probe of those types accurate.

u should get the rkl. it does much more than a single or dual temp controller. i am currently using one and its great. makes everything better. plus its 99 bucks now instead of the 150 a month ago. pretty good deal.
