Anyone know what kind of nem this is? I believe it is possibly an RBTA but the seller wasnt sure either. Most of the RBTA's that I have had in the past were much brighter and more red but there were a few of these that came with the rock that i bought.

It actually looks more like my GBTA. When i first got it the expanded bubble tips were more green, but now it doesn't bubble anymore and looks just like that. Except some of the areas around his mouth have more green.

I am pretty sure that it is not a majano there are 5 total and the smallest one is about the size of the biggest majano that I have seen. but the one in the pic is about 4-5 inches. Majanos dont get that big do they?

The story I got from the lady who had them was that her neighbor had bought them and a few months later his tank cracked so he brought everything from his tank down to her and gave it all to her. So supposedly they were bought from a store. But I have seen majanos at stores before.

It is a Majano commonly found as a Tulip Anemone, some can actually be very nice and in rare cases they can be safe as long as you keep them in check. The Tulips in the picture below don't seem to bother any corals in my tank but do split/spread very easily.

Its not a Majano or RBTA but its a GBTA.. I have alot of Tulip Anemone in my tank right now and they are less then 1'' and will not grow any bigger..
Im poor gave me 2 of them last year and now i have about 30 of them..Trying to kill all of them but its impossible..They split like crazy..

So maybe I have a 16" tulip anemone. :D

Correct, I've seen all of them except for the small one he mentioned and the larger ones are NOT mojano.

4-5" sounds a little large for a Tulip. How long has it been in your tank? If it is stressed right now, it might change shape in the coming days.
