Found my black widow nem splitting today... safe to say that i thought it got sucked into the powerhead at first!! Nems splitting is pretty brutal.

Now that I’ve seen them split naturally, I think Nick from oceanlife has the best idea. Just take a razor to them. Seems more humane!

Wood burner makes nice little holes in plastic cups. Wood burning set cost me $20 at Michaels

Curious, after they split, how did you scrape them off of the glass and get them in their floating oasis?

They were very loosely attached to my rock work. I got my fingernail up under the foot and the nem peeled off easily
Have you smell your hands afterwards? I have. No bueno. Try using an old credit card
