my neon goby i believe has a gill parasite (he has stuff protruding from gills), what should i do, there is one other fish in aquarium. I have a 1 gal tank that i could set up quick as a quaritine tank to mabye treat this guy if i can find medication for em.

definitely qt the little guy. the fish might have gill flukes or some other parasite. you might could give it a freshwater dip. research medication too.

If it's a reef aq. or has live rock, then you'll need to set up a quarantine tank. You probably, from my experience, don't need any medication. Just low salinity (which is good for the fish and bad for the parasite). I think sg of 1.10 is about right, but research that. Keep the fish in that tank for about 6 weeks. The low salinity is NOT good for your coral, so don't try this in your reef.
