Hey everyone my AWESOME wife got me the apex gold for Christmas. And I am just curious about the apex what are some of the key things that I should know about it before I set it up and all? Also my new tank is still in the works but it do have the stand. I plan on mounting all of the apex stuff along with the radion power supplies and dosing pumps on a separate board that will fit into the right side of the stand. I also want to waterproof this section in the event of a tank failure. Thinking maybe have an acrylic cover with a few vents that would prevent water from getting in and be easily accessible. What are your experiences and ideas?

I think mounting it in a way to protect it from the worst of the humidity is a solid idea. I have mine separated from the sump in a different section of the stand because of this.
It's a great system & you'll love it. Being able to start feed mode from my phone through Fusion is great - no more digging under the sump for power switches. I have the autofeeder which I have yet to set up, it's also the controller for my calcium reactor. I control my Radion lights and Vortech pumps with the WXM module. The whole system is very slick & once you use it, you'll wonder how you ever did without.

You're going to love the Apex.

Drip loops and mount it outside the stand away from the humidity, if you can. Hmm....I should take my own advice about outside the stand...
