Update

Here are couple more pics, the Xenia is starting to look really healthy and I believe the Trumpet is starting to split. Just being patient and enjoy watching everything the grow. I started using Reef Plus this week as well. I've read about some people on other forums having good success using it.

Mushroom

Here's a pic of a couple mushrooms that I got from Beau. These grow amazingly fast as it was only about a 1/2" two weeks ago and now is close to 2". Anybody know the name of this mushroom?
Thanks,

Nice job

I have a 12G nano too. Will post pics soon. Yours looks terrific

Love the story from shell to this.

Do you still have standard lighting? I am looking at upgrade but can't decide on going from 48 to 72 or 96 (nanotuners). I would like for my monti cap to grow :)

Well the standard on this tank was 1x18. The ballast was bad, so I went ahead and upgraded the ballast to 2x24 and modified the hood for the additional lamp. I have another 12dx that I think I'm going to go 3x24w. The nanotuners kit is nice because you have the parts in one kit but is 2x the cost of doing it myself and I can have each bulb on its own switch. Thanks for the comments and look forward to seeing your tank.

I'm currently using Reef Plus weekly. I'm using a lower dose than recommended, maybe I will try increasing the dose. The mat has been growing quite fast, is it the polyp extension you see issues with. Let me know what you see, as this is my first try at SW, so I'm always game to learn more.

Thanks
