Here is my new Pico I had built by BAA it's an 11"cube with a 4G Display

This is just something I might start with:
Black Sand
Mostly Zoas going in
Yellow Clown Goby that will be moving from my 1.5G

Let me know what you think or suggestions.

Maybe I'm seeing this wrong but how come you didnt have the water drawn from the bottom of the 1st chamber?

Oh no, I meant after the water enter the overflow =). Assuming that he uses the first chamber for sponge then the water wouldnt have the chance to travel pass the sponge.

Look for his post on RC (nano thread) and you will find more pictures of this tank. From the pics there it looks as though there are 3 back chambers #1 (overflow) returns to #2 at the bottom the #2 returns at the top to chamber 3

I too wonder why Karlo did not have them drill a hole for the return line?

I forgot to tell them that i needed some holes in the first chamber so water can travel on the bottom. Also the hole for return I am still trying to figure out where I am going to put it that's why it's not there.

I'll probably use 3 pcs 39w total I thought about a 70w mh but i think that's too much because i'm thinking of having mostly Zoas pcs will probably be better. I still have time to make up my mind but for now i will use pcs

That looks cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you use for your bended pipe that holds the bowl?
What is the fitting that you used on the top of the bowl?
Do you have a glass shield under the DE MH bulb? I could not tell from the pic, If you do not have a UV shield you will burn your corals as you need a UV shield with DE MH bulbs

It looks very nice

Awesome set up!

I do agree that the first rear chamber might be kinda worthless now....unless of course you find a skimmer to fit in that chamber.

If you don't mind how much did the tank cost?

It's a copper tube that i found at HD for $10 easy to bend but strong enough to hold the light.

What is the fitting that you used on the top of the bowl?

Took it off a light pendant i had laying around in the garage made it look better.

Not yet, that's what i'm working on right now to fit in there, the corals look fine now but they are only frags laying on the sand bed but when i start aquascaping it they will be higher up and might get burnt.

First chamber does get a lot of flow and if i get a skimmer it will have to be a biocube skimmer which will fit there but might not need it because of water changes need to be done often.

Cost:
Minh at BAA had it made for me i provided the acrylic and we worked out a deal.
