How much weight do you think that copper pipe can hold?

I can try and see when i get home with some weights but if you want to hang something really heavy it might be better just to get a steel pipe from the electrical dept. they have some small sizes and would be stronger all it would need is a nice paint on it,on the other hand the copper pipe looks really nice if you get it buffed and shiny and make it look more elegant and not so contemporary.

Well I would probably use two of them for my tank/fixture. Thing probably weighs like 20lbs.

IF SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO WORK WITH ACRYLIC WE CAN ALL PITCH IN AND BUY THE 1/4 INCH SHEETS AT HD AND USE MY OFFICE WHAREHOUSE TO BUILD THEM.

iF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, i HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH ACRYLIC BUT WOULD ENJOY LEARNING AND MAKING A SMALL TANK.

That's a really nice looking set up, Karlo. Congratulations.

I'd like to set up something like that dedicated to a specific coral type, like yuma's only, or every color morph of rhodactis, or something like that. I think that would be cool...

good luck,
Steve
