I am upgrading from a 28 Gal cube tank with no overflow to a 90 Gal tank with overflow and sump. On Day 13 the tank was cycled.

I am looking to make it a mixed reef tank. My goal is to mimic the real environment as much as possible using the Apex controller. I think adding rain, thunder and lightning would be a cool addition. I still have much to learn so I am taking baby steps. I am working with a buddy to make a web application that polls the Neptune controller for historic graphing, backup and safe remote access from the Internets.

Cool plan...I'm worry about the picasso trigger...because that fish is not reef safe and will eat the LPS corals that you have listed. If you like trigger, you may want the blue jaw trigger

@Loverboy19 - He doesn't mess with the coral but he loves snails. I want to add some clams and am afraid he will tear it up like he did the snails.

@toefu - I am writing it in perl and importing it into mysql so I can view via https. I am a Network Engineer so I sure don't want to leave my tanks support system open to the internets. Did you build a dotnet front end?

@emixa - I am using a HOB for now. I am looking at the AquaC EV-120 Protein Skimmer with Mag-Drive 5 Pump to add in the next few months. Any recommendations on protein skimmers?
