klondike: If you go on LiveAquaria's subforum on ReefCentral, you'll find some guy who got them to refund him because he recieved his coral broken. He had to keep pesturing them for some weeks though.

I already got a refund, I'm just really pissed because it's the 2nd broken coral I got, the first one I can probably blame the FedEx driver for throwing the box 10+ feet. This one he might have dropped, but my guess is it got broken in one of the many shoots at the sorting facility.

wow...so you get to keep the coral and get a full refund? i would have never thought of that. i can understand if it had rtn'ed in the bag during the trip, but i never thought a break could get a refund.

This first one was a 1/2 refund of the coral and a full refund of the shipping and handling. Due to the box being thrown, This time since there was no evidence of it being thrown I only got a 1/2 refund on the coral.

This is the reason that holds me back from ordering online.

Imagine if the box was being thrown with a fish, there is no way it would have survived.
