My family is moving to Magnolia for a fresh start...what stores are local there and which ones do you recommend? Thanks for the guidance.

Thanks...I visited That Aquarium Place today...nice, clean, and prices were fair. I'll check out some of the others in the near future. I prefer nems and softies and have heard that Galactic coral is the place to visit for nems. Any others that are "have to" visit?

I live out close to you, welcome. BB Fish & Pets isn't too far from you, just down 249. I haven't actually purchased any fish or coral from him, but I know the owner and he is a good guy... galactic is the best in the city (my personal opinion). I have numerous fish & coral from them.

Huh, so galactic coral is not where my navigation thinks, is one row over. Guess that is why I could not find it. Might want to make a post and sticky it on their section on the forum since I checked there and did not see anything and gave up.

Yeah, first time I went there it took me a while to find it as well.

I wouldn't go to the the fish gallery off of 45 in spring. They have gone down hill and give mixed advice. I was in there this past Friday and I was very disappointed.

Honestly I don't think there is anywhere worth going that isn't already on that map. Maybe Infinity Fish in Sugar Land, which sometimes the saltwater section is awesome, other times almost nothing. Freshwater section is usually nice though.

I know plenty of people that still go there. I don’t so much just because I live in the north side and it’s a long drive. It would be ridiculously long for someone coming from magnolia though.

For fish, I’m kind of all over the place. I would say that most came from Fish Gallery in The Woodlands, That Aquarium Place, and FJW. The only reason I don’t have many from other places is simply due to proximity.

For dry goods, I buy most from FJW. He has a massive inventory and matches online prices.

For corals, I’m all over the place, just like fish.

Yeah....just went to FJW for some corals last week. Love that place. Just looking for good prices/quality for fish. When I have the time I usually head out to Conroe to Fish R Us. They usually have a great selection and great service....they're just so damn far away/hard to get to. lol
