Just some random shots I took last night before I fed the little monsters.

What exactly is that food that you fed everything with?

I feed about once a week or 10 days I feed the anemones. When I do this the rest of the tank gets fed very well.

Bornemans mix
Cyclopeze
brine
mysis
krill
silversides
All mixed up and soaking with a few drops of selcon.

I've got several different dried foods that we used to make the bornemans mix. I sometimes add a scoop or two from them, as well as DT's.

I use a turkey baster to spot-squirt the anemones, but there's quite a bit more than they can grab, so the rest of the tank goes crazy for a bit.

Otherwise I feed every other day or so. Different flakes, cyclopeeze and mysis mainly, not all at once, but just throwing something different each time. I do watch to see that everything eats some of what I'm feeding. For instance my blue spot puffer will not touch the veggie flake, so he gets brine flake instead when I'm feeding flake.

man, that carpet ane. rocks! did you get it from Fish World a while back? that red brain w/ green center look great too- you should take a close up on it :D

I actually just got the carpet on Sunday from Planet Fish. It sat exactly where I put it all last night, and today, then it started to wander around when I was doing a water change tonight. It settled right next to one of the outlets on my closed loop. I let it get good an anchored for a couple hours before turning the pump back on, but I doubt it'll want to sit that close to it. I guess it'll be surprise in the morning where it moved to. Here's a fun pic of the red brain, I've had it for over 2yrs now. (Thanks John.) 8)

Great tank! I like the colors....very accurate and clear. What camera are you using? What settings do you have it on?

I've got an Olympus 5050. About 4-5 months ago I decided that I needed to actually learn how to use it, so I started reading a bit and experimenting and just stopped putting everything on 'auto'. I'm getting MUCH better pictures than I did before. A lot of it has to do with advice, and tutorials from folks I've 'met' online in the photography forum over on RC. I'd really love to get a Canon Digital Rebel, but realistically it'll be at least a year before I can even bring it up.

Yep all my pics are taken with the same camera. I don't have the money to get into photography the same way I have with reefkeeping.

My hope is to be able to get a dSLR sometime next year, but until then this camera does a decent job, and it's great to learn on.
