I have a pair of onyx clown in my cube tank (about 1 1/2years and about to lay eggs) and a tomato pair up with a cinnamon in my 300g (want to see how the babies look) so i went online and read alot about breeding clown. I made up my mind and decided to breed them.
I went ahead and turn my 29g plumbed to my 300g into the breeding station.
So far I have a pair of picasso clown (still baby), onyx clown, snowflake (thanks Dennis at FJW Aquarium) and a tomato pair with a cinnamon clown (wonder how the babies will look). All 3 pairs are about to lay eggs.
Hope i can breed them.

I havent but i think I read everything i need to know. The hardest part is culture phytoplankton and dont let it crash. culture rotifer is easy.

Karlo told me to use balloon sticks. works great. Hobby Lobby sells a bag of 20 for $4.

Are you culturing phytoplankton?

Just thinking about it. I have a brine shrimp setup right now but was thinking about rotifers.

I see.
My (2) phytoplankton discs and rotifer are coming in this Sat. Will start when they are in.

Who are you getting your supplies from? I was looking at Florida Aqua Farms and Reed Mariculture. I used Brine Shrimp Direct for artemia eggs and selco.
