Right now there is plenty of algae to go around. I can only guess and try to find a good balance of critters so that there is enough of a natural food source for them. If they do too good a job I guess I could just take some out or throw some food in. Once I add fish or corals and start daily feedings there should be some leftovers for them to munch on.

Did the brown monti make it?

So far it looks like it is doing well! The polyps open up in the morning when the lights come on and stay open all day, so it looks healthy to me. I took a couple pictures when I first added it so I will be able to take some comparisons and see if there is growth. So far so good! Thanks!

No need to say thanks it was going to be jawfish rubble if I hadn't given it to you. If its doing good then I guess you can say you have a SPS tank now.
