Here are some new pics of my tank at a little over 2 months old. I still have 77 lbs of Tonga Eva rock to add hopefully Thursday night, its been curing for a couple of weeks now. I also added the magnetic holders for the Sieo's last night (not pictured) NO more suction cups!

nice pics jhand, did you mount the mushrooms or did they automatically grow that far apart?

The shrooms have just grown where they land or previously where on rocks I have aquired. They have really taken off lately! Thanks!

Thanks Matt, the Flame is doing great, she gets along really well with my YT. The Hammer seems to get bigger every day. I'll have to hook your nano up with some really nice watermelon shrooms and awesome rics in the future!

Have you had any trouble with the Flame angel picking at any of your coral?

I would really like to add a dwarf angel to the tank but I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice my LPS/SPS.

So far she has been a model citizen, i've only had her for a few days. She came from a well stocked reef and was said to be a good girl!

I've always heard that no angels are reef-safe.

Is your reef-safe Flame unique to the species or did you happen to get lucky with a well behaved fish?

100% reef safe is a strong statement! Many times it just depends on the individual fish. I have read many times where others kept Flame Angels in fully stocked reefs with no problems for years, then out of no where they started picking at things, then other times the fish had bad behavior from day 1. So you could say it is a gamble. I had a Coral Beauty many years ago that was a holy terror!
Just my observations......

Ive had 2 coral beautys and a flameback angel and they have never picked on any of my corals. Also...the pics are nice. I do however think that it could look better if you did some different rock landscape. Thats my 2 cents.

Like I said I have 77lbs of rock to add tonight. 40 lbs of the rock that you see in the tank now was just set in there Sunday, I didnt worry about arrangement seeing I have this other rock to add. Thanks for the compliments!

Lambianz...... not quite sure what a "explicit guru" is..... perhaps thats another topic. Anways in your post you posed a question as to whether or not the there was a "flaming" Angel in the tank and you made a comment on their tendency to eat corals. I was simply telling you to read the above post and you would see several of us had been discussing that very topic.

I think you are misunderstanding everyone. Angels are known to eat corals in the wild and in tanks, but many of us have had success in avoiding this problem since we feed our fish well and there is little need for the fish to pick at our corals.
