Hey guys!
Moved here a year ago and love it.
Have had reef tanks for the past decade, on and off.

Brought a Red Sea Reefer 250 from South Florida, it was packed in the garage for the past few years there as well.
Just opened it yesterday and found a chip and I think the tank is a goner.

Looks like I'm in the market for a new tank now, what are your thoughts on waterbox?
I wanted a 50-60gallon tank, which one would you guys go for?

If you want it fast, Red Sea. They are local to houston and if there’s issues they can help pretty fast

I recently bought a Waterbox tank. I like their product but I don’t know if I care for their sales team and support.

Another tank to consider is maybe innovative marine. They’ve been having 40% sales on various tanks every other week or so. This week it seems like 100g penisula.

What store would you recommend to get RSM? and who carries waterbox?
I have had two of their tanks before, and I loved them.
Just got back into the hobby after 2-3 years and started hearing a lot about waterbox.
They seem to be pricier as well.

Take a look at the new Red Sea XL300 G2 tank. It’s really nice and out of the box compatible with the ReefMat.

Don’t forget to use the MyReefer wizard to put together your system and get a discount.

There is a 180 waterbox on sale in Houston on Facebook for 1800. You might be able to haggle down to 1500 but it's a good deal for a 4k tank

I've had Waterbox, Innovative Marine and now I'm on a Planet Aquarium, no experience with Red Sea but heard of their older tanks leaking but I think they fixed it now. I'm also in Richmond area.
If you want local for Waterbox, check out The Fish Bowl & More. I bought 2 Waterbox tanks from them, a 20 gallon All in One and upgraded to a 65 gallon All in One. I also bought my current Planet Aquarium tank from them and they tend to keep a lot in store

Sounds like a great deal, but a little too big for me right now :/

It’s nice to have Red Sea North America HQ right near Intercontinental airport. I’ve been twice to pick items up.
