Hello Marsh,
I am currently on the BOD, and running a third term.

My background:

I have been in the reef hobby for the last 9 or so years and before that I only had fish only freshwater tanks. I started on the BOD back in 2005 and have enjoyed my time spent on the board helping out whenever I can. I think one of my biggest accomplishments on the board was bringing a SUCCESSFUL MACNA to Houston (Of course not without the help of the other board members at the time and several other great MARSH Volunteers).

After thinking about it. I have decided with 3 terms on the BOD under my belt that I would like to run as an officer for MARSH. I am tossing my hat in for the Secretary position to make things interesting.

As a regular attendee to MARSH events and with my role as the membership committee chair I feel this role will fit nicely as I already perform most of the functions this seat calls for.

I am wondering does the secretary take notes and publish minutes of previous meetings like in other organizations? It would be nice to see what happened at past meetings so that we can see the progress and "changes" MARSH has gone through.

That is correct as Secretary that would be one of my tasks, and making them public to all members is something we are going to implement.

I'm not 100% sure we would typically set a date for the next BOD meeting that same say of the elections so I can give you a date then... If you vote for me that is
