My son said, "Where is the RBTA in the 90g"? Then he found what was left of it being eaten by 2 Peppermint shrimp. I took what was left and put it in the frag tank. I don't know if it will make it but it has not started decomposing. I will watch it carefully onver the next couple days.

Then the next bad thing.... I had the tape measure out and was measuring the amount of light at different depths with my new PAR meter. The sandbed was at 20". I was thinking that I only had 1 inch of sand not 5 :? .....Dammit....my tank is a 75g instead of a 90g!!!

So what happened to it/was it caught in the powerhead? I gave up on anemones, they sit still for months and then starting to move for some reason. If I want one, I will have a nano with just anemones.

It was just attacked by the Peppermints. I guess after getting rid of the aiptasia they developed a taste for nems.

I have another in my biocube that split. But I cannot put anything else in the big tank until I get the Peppermints out.

I can't get over the missing of your 15 Gallons. 8O

I'd take some Peppermints, but they might eat my GBTA. That would not be good since it finally looks like it's happy now.

Update, even though the foot and all but a couple of tentacles were completely eaten away, the RBTA survived. I had actually forgotten about it but a couple days ago my son pointed out that he look fine now. He is smaller and the tentacles are shorter but he looks complete. It is amazing that it survived. I will feed him and take a pic when I get home today.

DARN DARN DARN... I fed the RBTA a small silverside this morning and he ate it!. Then I checked on it a few minutes ago and found what looked like a small tentacle on the bottom.

I looked and looked, then I noticed a larger piece being shot out of the Seaclone skimmer. I sut it off and found this inside the skimmer.

What was left of the RBTA is stuck to the intake of the skimmer pump AAAaargh!!!! Here is what he looks like after retrieving him from the intake.

Oh man, that sucks. Bet you $5 he survives. I had a GBTA get stuck to an MP10 and, while he lost a little weight, he survived.

Yeah, I think he may survive. Even though this is the second time, he looks better now than he did the first time.
