Opinion on Pan World 50x-x *****Anyone got any**** (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking about getting a Pan World 50x-x, runs 90 volts and pushes 1100 gph. The only concern is noise. I currently run an iwaki and it makes a really loud whirling sound. Does anyone have any experience with the pan world pump??? Thanks

good pumps. i have one that i've been running for 3 years now. i just take the wet end apart every 3mths and clean it out. very quiet and reliable.

I have the coral life brand that is the exact pump as that just branded different and they seem pretty nice well built and easy to clean.

So no problems with noise at all?? My sump is under my cabinet which is only about 5 feet away from the couch. I'm sure it'll make some noise but I just wanted to get a decent idea of the db's it'll make.

I have the Pan World 100PXX and its noisier than I would like. Nice machine, but I wish it were quieter.

kool,, thx guys/gals, i went ahead and ordered one w/ a fer other things from MD... it cant be any worst then the Iwaki i have.. buit to last but too loud... sound like a jet turbine!!!!
