Overflow suggestions/help (1 Viewer)

On my external overflow I am using the hofer system (http://home.everestkc.net/jrobertson57268/HGB/) but I had little issue yesterday and I had an overflow over the main tank onto the floor. It seems the hofer system is quite restrictive so I am looking for some type besides the hofer.

Is the durso the only other way?

a regular durso would flow way more than that. The size of the holes drilled in the side of the inside tube are whats restricting it so much.

Just use a regular durso or stockman standpipe. both can be tuned to near silence without the fear of overflows.
