I am looking for a longer output hose for my ro unit. I am talking about the hard plastic hose so I can run it to the tank I am going to fill up. Does Home Depot carry this or where can I get it.

Home Depot has it - I have always gotten mine there - they also carry the fittings. If you have a hard time finding it ask them for "ice maker" water line...

You're talking about LDPE tubing (low density polyethylene). We (Buckeye Field Supply) carry 3 colors of tubing and all the fittings you'd need.

Our fittings are more inexpensive than the hardware stores I've seen - but if you just need a couple the expense of shipping wouldn't be worth it.

If you get translucent icemaker tubing from the hardware store, keep an eye one it to make sure you don't start getting algae in the tube.

Make sure you use teflon tape on the fitting threads.

FWIW, that tubing also makes for the perfect drip-acclimation line. Any regular valve for an air line fits in this tubing, and it doesn't crimp. I use mine for acclimating everything I get. Works with singles or multiples.
