Hey all long time no talk,

I got a teenny tiny filefish from Petco about 4 months ago. Destroyed all my aptasia! He's doubled in size since I got him. Over the last couple months only my acan lords have been going downhill. No extension, lost like 3 colonies so far. Just saw the little bastard take a bite out of one of my acans. Almost scrapping the skeleton. I've been worried about water parameters and all sorts of stuff and it was him all along. He was a really cool fish.

Threw him into one of my softies tanks to go hunting there. Hopefully the remaining colonies start making their comeback.

I had no idea about the filefish going after coral. I google it and its all over the other forums.

Yep all the acans have extension today! I still have aptasia in the skimmer area so eventually they will make it back into the main dispay.

Get four peppermint shrimp and throw them in that compartment. It will all be gone in a week or two. I always have a 50/50 chance of peppermint shrimp eating it. If they’re hungry and have nothing else to eat, they’re gonna go for it quicker than usual. Once it’s gone, throw them in the display and you have a nice addition to your cleanup crew.
