Petco water purifier (1 Viewer)

Anyone tried this thing? I know there are better system on Ebay but I get free gift cards to Petco. I've been using tap water for 3 months so I hope this is an upgrade.

Yea, but keep in mind that system only filters up to 150 gallons before it depleted. Not very economical. Besides, I think you could do as well running your water through a polypad as long as you rolled it up and ran the water through the center. I'm sure you could do at least 150 gallons with one filter. @ $5 a piece online it'd be tough to beat. Don't get me wrong, I don't think you'd get the purity of the resin filter, but for what you'd need it for, I'd say that it would be plenty good enough. It'd be easy to tell when it was spent, too. When the pad looks dirty, replace it.
