So I've been digging Fusion control with my Apex.
I've managed to attach my Radions via the WXM and have a virtual outlet to over-ride the light programming and turn the lights on for those times when the lights are normally off and someone comes by and wants to take a look -- something hard to do with the standard "wire needed" interface from EcoTech.
The one thing that has been vexing me is an hourly email alert saying my tank is below 75F. It is not.
Turns out someone added me as a manager (i.e. full access) to their unit. I could see, control and modify any setting. Their unit, through the Fusion website, was sending me notifications that their tank was 73F! That's cold!
Anyway, I removed myself from their unit and the issues have gone away.
Just a heads-up. If you get strange notifications, they may be coming from a controller you don't own.
And no, nobody can assume control of your unit unless you mistakenly add them.
