Hey everyone,

One of my clowns is sick!! It started when i added another clown to my 14G Biocube, and in the fighting process of them figuring out who was going to be the female he got a lot of his fins nipped. So I got some melafix and have been adding directly to the tank to help them regrow for the past two weeks, then he had some white dots on him not the little tiny ich dots but a maybe 3, bigger ones so i thought maybe it was a fungal infection from the fighting so i got some pimafix and have been dosing that for the past week. And now he has a swollen eye, but the new clown is completely fine.

I've decided I'm going to setup a hospital tank for the sick fish but i don't know how to do that nor do i know what i need to treat him with, antibiotics (if they have that), hypo salinity, or something else.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Get a 10/G or 20/L and put a small heater and Powerhead. You can also use a AquaClear but remove the carbon and media when dosing meds.

I would start with prazipro and then treat with an antibiotic. Sounds kinda like a bacterial infection.

Can u post a few pics...

I have a 20gl tank always set up, even if nothing is in it. You need a HOB filter, Heater, and either a air pump or small power head...thats really all as lights are optional. You may want to put a couple pvc connections in there so they have a place to hide n sleep. Good luck!
