That is what it appears to be to me also. It will go away on its own. No worries. Sometimes it takes a few weeks or longer. Good luck with him.

It was awfully scary prior to figuring it out. I thought my copperband had leprosy.
Yeah it’s odd looking if you haven’t seen it before. The first time my fish had it on their fins I cut it off. Lol
