DSR Power Filter Intakes

Brent got the new Power Filter intake designs on the website today. So now if anybody wants a Power Filter and you do not have the tools or maybe you’re not DIY savvy… these are available and ready to ship. There are 3 options available (1/2”, 3/4”, & 1”) in “multiple” colors. 🤗 Again, these will all fit “over” “standard” PVC pipe. Most reefers will only need a reducing male adapter or a reducer coupling depending on pump used.

When you go to his website, click the drop down arrow ⬇️ and make sure you pick the “Large” & “All Holes” options. Happy Reefing!

I always wanted one of those intakes. I even tried making my own.
They are fairly simple to make, but I’m too much of a perfectionist. These are just too perfect to not buy one. For $20 + $6 shipping it’s not a bad deal avoiding having to drill 30 holes or cut a bunch of slots which usually come out all jacked up anyways unless you have a table saw and fence, but it’s still difficult. The ones I cut with a sharp drill bit “made for plastics” was really difficult. Ever tried to mark a straight line or drill on small round pipe? Even with a T-square it wasn’t easy. I tried butting them up to a granite counter top ledge and that worked fairly well, but still not perfect. After that… trying to measure/mark spots to drill holes every 1/2” was also a challenge.

I just bought two more so I can test and also have a power filter intake for every pump.
