today i bought 2 odyssy EX-350 (350 gph) power heads today. When I installed them i found that they put out a LOT of flow, more than my Koralia 1 (400 gph). what i am wondering is: can u have too much flow in the tank. I was told when i posted pics to get more flow now i am affraid i may have too much. :curse:

LMK, Thanks

No, you don't have too much. Just make sure your powerheads are positioned so that you do not have a powerhead pointed directly at a coral that does not prefer it (it will express its displeasure by not opening). You should be able to position them so that they create somewhat random flow. Once you graduate to "advanced" powerhead placement you can position them so that all the fish poo gets collected in one spot.

keep in mind that on the odyssy the flow is coming out of a much smaller hole.

the koralia 1 is putting out more flow, but it's more widespread.
