Wow i can't belive i went with out power for almost 6days. My tank looks ok . I just lost coral banded shrimp and my dora tang came down with ich . But my Yellow tang, 3 clown fish,Snowflake eel , puffer , mandrin goby , pink benny, safin tang , and some damsels made it ok . All my coral doing great . Thanks to one of the power converters you plug in your car. i had one pump running my saltwater tank , and my fresh water tank did fine thank to 3 tea pitchers , i had two pitchers picking up water and pouring it back in the tank to mix air in my tank . Because when i woke up in the morning with no power all my fresh water fish in my 210gal was gasping for air and floating side ways , so i had to think fast to mix air in my tank and so i grab 3 tea pitcher and started to pick up the water in the tank and pour it back in the tank , to mix the air with water . so all my fresh water did fine . as for my saltwater, i just powered my return pump to keep the flow moving so my fish would not die . I'm so happy my tank did not crash or my fish died. Now i just haveto keep close eye on my blue tang . Does not look to well . because my temp on my tank drop down to 70f . and i think it got my blue tang ick from stress . now i'm warming the tank back up . I just hope my Blue tang make it . It's only like inch big .

yea my blue tang is gone and i think i lost fire shrimp also . every thing else is fine .

I was so bumped to think i lost my blue tang . So i went to the store and got new blue tang and when i got home i found my other tang swimming around , half the ich on him seemed to went aways . So thats good news for me .
Also today i went out to find some frags and coral to buy and when i got home i decided to move my rocks around to better place all my new coral.
And i found my fire shrimp. So it look like everything still in good shape .

i've had bad luck with that in the past . so i just let it be . i know it will get better on it's own . plus it way to fast to catch . it fly in and out of the rocks .

Congrats, its good to hear that. Well I still don't have any power. My 72 gal is still going w/o any problem. I owe it to battery operated airator and few water changes. Luckly I only have 2 fishes and few mushrooms and ricordeas. I didn't know mushrooms/ricordeas were so hardy. Anyway I'm just hoping for power.

i just got power today about 11 am after 8 days. really long 8 days but happy to say that everything is looking ok for the time being.hope every else gets power soon it is weird that you dont know how much you need it until it is gone. i didnt even remember what i looked like after so long not seeing myself in the mirror.

thats good to hear. I had my whole family pissed off cause of my fish i didn't want to leave for crap . haha but i offer to pay for hotel for everyone but they didn't want to leave me alone at home . o well . i tryed .

i know when the power came on for me the 1st thing to mind was to flip my lights on my tank and get on marsh and fishbox. lol haha
