Hello
I would appreciate any input anyone can give me on expenses for setting up a salt water tank in my home and another in my office.
Home tank is custom 80 gallon custom built into existing cabinetry. The cost is $4300 and does not include fish or a cooling unit (I don't need a cooling unit)
Office tank is 120 gallons and does require cabinetry. Also no fish or cooling unit. The cost is $6800.
I know that this is a difficult question to answer without specific of hardware etc. I just want to know is this average or very expensive for what I am purchasing?
Also what should I expect to pay for someone to maintain my tanks so that my involvement is minimal? How many times a month should they come?
Thanks
I asked him if this is a reef setup with all the wonder or not. He says this is an outside company just coming in and doing the whole setup for him.
