Looks good Mike, I told you it's easy to remove the glass brace.
Cliner, you will have no problem with that metal brave. We did lots of tank with that metal brace and have no problem. I have one on my 300g and Karlo just put one on his tank too. Lmk if u need one, my brother can weld u one for trade of livestocks

Did mine about 4 years ago and it has held up fine.

It is so much better with the glass removed.

Looking good mike. Now would be the time to get in there and give it a good cleaning as well.on the return i would have lock lines all over the place, inside of that wall you are going to build, to remove ditritus build up. would be nice to see you drill the drains as well. but i know your not. all you would have to do is cut out the back of your overflow box's and silicone them to the tank like mine.
but i know you won't, LOL! LMK if you need any help.

I don't know about drilling it, may have to think about it. Give me some reasons why to drill it. Advantages and disadvantages of drilling this tank!

Cleaner plumbing
better drainage system, not that yours was faulty.
silence
one box verses two, giving you more room.
because i said so
you can paint the box black and put a lid on it to prevent algae growth inside the box.
because i said so

Hong, your glass center is like my 300g and its very hard to take it out. So the answer is no.. If its like Mike's(fishstick) tank then YES.

Looking good mike, are you going to use fiberglass esin over it? i mixed sand in mine and then painted it on. worked really well.

wow! you went with a dsb, thought you were against it. I have to ask, were are you putting the
mp40's? and were are your returns? i know the are hidding in the foam, just curious how you routed them, any on the sides?

what are you plans for livestock?

All MP40s are being put in dry docks and foamed, so you will not see them either. 1 is already in and it hard to see it. Return is in foam also across the back. It's 4 1" returns. Plans for livestock...lets see...as for corals, anything I can find that's unique and colorful. I will have lots of schooling fish, 2or 3 tangs, a few angels, and lots of inverts. It will be really nice once I load it with livestock.
