I have a purple digi and during the day when the lights are on, it turns brown or has brown "stuff" covering it.....at night, it is purple again. Can someone tell me what is going on or what I am doing wrong? Thanks!!

maybe it is polyping out at day so it has brown polyps and at night the polyps retract and you see the purple body.
