My setosa is developing purple marbling on it. Anyone else have one like this? I can find a few pics with some green marbling, but not purple. To my knowledge no other coral has touched it to infect it with the purple pigment. Sorry for the dark pic, seems like photobucket's back to editing my photos on upload again, grr!

I know there have been instances of pocilliopora pigmentation attaching to corals across the tank from each other. I wonder if something similar happened. Could have happened in the original tank you got the piece from and is just now showing this since grafting i believe is an alteration in the DNA. Thats as interesting as the purple graft I had on the slimer in the old tank pre crash

The setosa was originally from you, like 3 years ago now, at one of the SE tank tours. Just started showing the marbling in the past few months. Not sure when the purple showed up on your slimer, maybe the graft was from the same source for both our corals, or from something purple in my tank.

Nice. Maybe I can buy a piece back from you one of these days lol. Slimer graft came from garf bonsai. I don't think that the bonsai ever grew into the setosa in my tank but they were close together. I can't wait to see how your graft developes more over time
