I have been using it for about 1 1/2 wks. My rock hasn't started turning purple yet but you can see where the purple up is building up on the rock, which will turn purple.

Won a bottle at the meeting before last... Been using it sporadically... Seems to quicken the coraline process...

It takes a while to have an effect, but when it does, it is noticeable. It won't grow coralline where none exists, but if you have any in your tank already, it will spread much faster and colonize new areas of rock, glass and powerheads. We use it here at the shop and even did some experiments a while back to see if it was worth it. Good stuff IMO.

Its not that bad of a product. I would use B-Ionic instead or with purple up though. I have used both and the B-Ionic just seemed like a better product. My corals seemed brighter, tank just seemed prettier. The purple up did speed up the process a little so Im not going to knock it, just saw better overall results with B-Ionic.
