Does anyone know of some good places to find/buy PVC fittings? Preferably on the northwest side of town. . .

I get really frustrated going to Lowe's and Home Depot - they never seem to have exactly what I need.

For example, I could really use a 90 degree elbow with 3/4" female thread on one side and 1" slip on the other. Good luck finding that one at Home Despot.

I got that exact part at the Home Depot in Kemah just yesterday (bought 2, actually). Used it as my return line for my new tank. I'd just check another location if your are struggling with the closest store.

Les you are right the HD and lowes on our side of town are bad!!!! During your lunch break next to the Sports Athority and spec's parking lot (off of westhimer) there is a speciality pluming store. I have never been it it but you could give it a try. I was going to check it out but I do not work over there any more :(

OK, so Kemah and Beaumont are the exceptions to my rule I guess!

crvz, I'm glad you had luck at your HD, but I've had dozens of trips to dozens of HD stores where they were either:
A) out of the part I needed
B) parts were so mixed up I couldn't even find the part I needed in the box with the right label
C) didn't carry the part in the first place
D) only had the part in copper or brass fittings

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll give them a shot. I have used Savko before and they are great.
