Question about PM Bullet 1 injector (1 Viewer)

I have a Precision Marine Bullet 1 that I purchased several years ago and that I want to use on a tank I am setting up. It appears from the PM website that PM has re-designed the injector assembly since I originally purchased the skimmer. Can anyone provide their opinion on whether it is worth it to buy the retrofit injector?

I don't think it is worth $100, I would stick with what you have and keep it clean.

I too have an older Bullet..... I have had no problem with mine but you do need to keep it clean

how do you keep them clean? isn't it just letting them suck in hotwater (no pun, ) to dissolve any salt buildup?

True but it hs to be done just like cleaning the rest of the skimmer.
