Question for the MH gurus (1 Viewer)

I'm slowly piecing together a dual 250W hqi system and just got a pair of new Sunlight Supply Reef Optix 3+ pendants at a steal. Next I'm trying to find a 250W HQI/electronic ballast, but I got a quick question about the plug (I'm not the first to ask this, I'm sure).

Is this plug end standard for MH sockets and pendants or is it proprietary (works only w/ specific ballast brands)? I'd prefer to setup each pendant on an IceCap electronic ballast to save on the electricity bill, but wouldn't that require ripping open the plug to wire it? Anyone know of an e-ballast that would simply plug-n-play as is? Not afraid to solder but just want to learn my options from you pros out there.

Oh wait.. are these quick disconnects, perhaps?

They are quick disconnects. You can buy the other end to wire to the ballast. I might actually have some spares.

proprietary. Cut the plug off and wire away.

I just use normal plug ends on mine its alot cheeper than the special kind of ends like that.
