So I'd like to know your impressions and opinion of the new lights.

How is their spread with HEI lenses?

How is the color?

Does the light bleed over edge of tank more so than previous models?

Are they worth the additional costs over G3?

I've got my 6 new G4 pros sitting in my closet right now. I'm leaving for MACNA first thing tomorrow morning and will be home Sunday evening. I probably won't have time to install them until the weekend of the 17th. I will definitely give my first impressions then. From everything I'm hearing and reading everyone loves them so far. Many G3 owners that have only had their lights a couple months are even selling and moving to G4 Pros. Can't wait to see for myself.

I've replaced my Hydra52 & Mars Aqua on my frag tank with a G4 and there is a big difference in lighting spread and colors. My corals are responding much better with the G4. I never owned a Radion before the G4 so I can't tell you if it is worth it of the additional cost over the G3.

Problem is it's going to be a major PITA to swap them out with my sump in my stand blocking access to my wiring. Ugh. lol

That's no joke!! I was cussing myself all day yesterday. Started at 10am yesterday ripping my old Radions off the tank. By 1am last night I had my new G4's hung above my tank! Called it a night and went to bed. Woke up this morning and started calibrating and programming them. Got that done now. All I can say is WOW!!! These LEDs are insane! I'm running a custom program at 60% right now. I need to fix all the wiring and I'm done.
