Anyone ever use one of these to control a heater before? I found one prewired new for $75 but wanted to get some feedback first.

I use one for my chiller and its great. Havent had a problem with it so far. Mine is also controlled with my Aqua Controler JR so I have a double safety.

Most people use them to control their chiller or fans.
since typically the heaters have a thermostat built in and a lot of people here don't keep a heater in their tank at all.

My WON heater is registering the water temp incorrectly so instead of purchasing a new heater thought I would go with a controller instead and let it cycle the heater.

I've used my ranco for about, oh, 6-8 months now, it does a great job.
