Can anyone tell me anything/everything about rasta? Does it have another name? I can't seem to find any information on it....Thanks in advance.....

Rasta is basically same as Sinularia leathers. Finger leather is a common name.

I have two big finger leathers that I frag all the time. One is purple/green and the other is green/white let me know if you ever want a frag to try.

I feel exposed now. One of those little things you wondered about but were too lazy to ask, ROFL. I looked for "rasta" in about four different books and didn't find a single entry. I knew it was a leather, though

Is it safe to have with SPS? I've always avoided leathers because of toxicity issues, so never researched it.

I would say yes it is safe to have with SPS as long as you keep the leather from touching the SPS...leathers can really sting the hell out of other corals. They grow so fast though I'm not sure you would want one in your tank unless you like cutting it down and fragging it
