I'm not sure if this is the best section to post this, but I figure yall will know best what an anemone sting looks like.

Anyway, my purple tang does like to steal food from my anemone, but I haven't fed the anemone in about a week so I'm not sure what it was trying to steal. These spots appeared almost instantly. There's definitely a linear pattern to the spots. Is this an anemone sting?

The tang doesn't seem bothered by it.

Ouch...that's not pretty. Doesn't look like ich, and it doesn't look like a scratch from rubbing on rocks or something like that...but I have never seen a sting on a fish like that, but not sure what else it could be.

RBTA doesn't have that potent of a sting to do that with one single tentacle...in my opinion. I'd say it's a minor injury sustained either fighting with another fish or darting through rockwork.
