I'm in the middle of doing a water change and had a brainstorm. Why can't I use the old fish water for brining my turkey. There has to be some great flavor in there.
The turkey was great, really flavorful and the guests never knew. I made some skimmate gravy and even added some bubble algae to the cranberry sauce for some color. They gave a nice crunch as a bonus.
I have some leftovers if anyone is hungry
