I got a red dendronepthya (carnation coral) today as a gift. I don't normally buy species that I haven't research in advance, but this was a gift. What do you do? I couldn't be rude, could I?
Well I have it now, and I am wondering if there are special needs or concerns. I was only able to get very limited information on it and the information I found was not conclusive. MarineDepotLive says that it is a difficult species to maintain, but then again they also say that about pulsing xenia, and I am hardly able to keep the stuff trimmed down in my tank.
I would appreciate any feedack on this species if anyone has any. I don't really like to keep something I am unfamiliar with.
Thanks,
Trey
