How can you tell the difference between some tangs labeled "red sea" and those that aren't?
I can see the difference on sailfin tangs, but thats it.
I've seen Red Sea purple tang, Red Sea Blonde Naso Tang, they look just like any other purple tang or blonde naso tang I've seen.

So how do u know the difference? Is there a difference?

the price :D

there's also a bit of coloration differences between red sea varieties and those from elsewhere. i'm not 100% on this one, but i think the blonde naso tang from the red sea has a yellow ventral side (belly).

Purple Tang is endemic only to Red Sea I believe. Naso blond can also come from the Indian Ocean and theres a slight decrease in price.
