I am going to be cleaning and redoing the 55 gallon sump. I need to reglue the baffles. I initially used caulk but that took a while to dry. I need something that adheres to glass and plexiglass. It also needs to dry quickly.

Or is there a way to create channels for the baffle to slide into? Would super glue adhere to glass and plexiglass?

So is silicone the only thing used?

Are there any adhesive type strips that can be used to hold things in place?

only thing I know of. problem is for something else to work (super glue, epoxy) requires tight fit between glass and acrylic... problem is acrylic expands in water and has been known to crack glass tanks if fit is to close.. best to leave about a 1/16" on the sides and silicon it in.
